Description
A collaboration between Iron Heart and Simmons Bilt, the Pale Rider offers traditional western-shirt styling, made from beautiful Blattwerk® horsehide and finished with heavy-duty copper snap fastenings. Wear it hard and it will take on a patina and character that are unique to you and the way you live — just like your favourite pair of jeans.
Similar to the leather used in our IHSB-WJ work jacket, the tanning process for this leather utilises olive-leaf extract as a tanning agent. This award-winning Blattwerk® method requires no acid, sulphur, or salts, meaning it is 100% pure, natural, and sustainable — and it also contributes to the local economy where the olives are grown and harvested. Blattwerk® horsehide is treated with genuine beeswax to protect it from dirt and environmental influences, allowing the leather to develop a rich, timeworn patina with wear.
