Snowflakes always have six sides, hexagonal, because water molecules organize into a hexagonal lattice structure as they freeze.  Our snowflakes are hand cast in solid, lead-free pewter.  Each snow pin has a military style clasp back to keep your pin secure on a hat, jacket, or bag.
